On Friday 1st July, the Eol Agency organised an exceptional Public Relations operation in La Trinité-sur-Mer, on the SW coast of Brittany, for one of its clients, the American Merchant Bank, Lehman Brothers.
After receiving a warm welcome in their charming hotel, just a stone's throw from the port, on Thursday evening, the twenty-four guests were split into groups of eight to board the 3 boats hired specially for the occasion: 2 racing trimarans and 1 monohull, each 60 foot long.
The guests made two rotations in the morning with a third and final ride after a three-course lunch in the port, enabling everyone a taste of each of the three boats as well as the culinary delights of La Trinité sur Mer.
The weather was rather inclement that day: leaden skies and gusts of up to 30 knots providing the new crews with an in-depth lesson on the realities of sailing the formula ones of the seas.
Guests were even given the opportunity to helm with peaks at 33 knots of boat speed and some exceptional moments that they will cherish for a long time to come.
