It was at 12 hours 04 minutes and 10 seconds GMT this Tuesday 8th February 2005 that the 60 foot monohull VMI skippered by Sébastien Josse crossed the finish line of the Vendée Globe 2004, a single-handed race, without stopovers and without assistance departing and finishing in Les Sables d’Olonne (France).
